“My passion for financial planning was born out of one of the most defining moments of my life.”
In 2008, I watched my parents and countless others endure the devastating weight of the Great Recession. As the son of a refugee immigrant family, I was raised with a deep respect for hard work and saving. But witnessing that crisis firsthand taught me a hard truth: working harder and saving more alone isn’t enough to protect the people you love.
That realization sparked a question that has driven everything I’ve done since: How can I help families build financial security that actually holds?
I began my career at a large insurance planning firm in Brea, California, where I quickly found my footing but also my limits. I knew I was moving in the right direction, but I wanted to do more than sell products.

Beyond Endeavor
Outside of work, Charles’s life is grounded in family, travel, food, and the people closest to him.
“The greatest gift my career has ever given me has nothing to do with finance at all.”
Charles met his wife Brittany while they were both working at a previous firm, and they married in 2020.
Pokémon Go somehow connects both meeting Brittany and eventually founding Endeavor. Charles admits that sounds insane, but says it makes sense once you hear the story.
They share their home with four cats, and Charles also enjoys going to the gym, trying new food, learning about different cultures, and traveling.
